ISHRS Most Original New Idea Award

In 2002, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons awarded Dr. Ziering with their prestigious  "Most Original New Idea" award for his Ziering Whorl classification system.  Presented at the 10th Annual meeting of the ISHRS in Chicago, the award recognised Dr. Ziering’s unique approach to creating natural looking hair restoration results.

The Ziering Whorl is a unique hair transplantation technique that duplicates the hair’s tendency to grow from the scalp in a spiral pattern. It identifies five separate types of whorl patterns with variations in tightness and direction of the spiral. By identifying your particular whorl pattern, Dr. Ziering and the surgical staff of Ziering UK can create natural looking results.

The Ziering Whorl techniques and identification process has been taught by Dr. Ziering to other hair transplant surgeons at international conferences across the globe. The results are the most natural looking hair transplants ever achieved.
